A moderately sloped trail that hikes through the woods to the summit. The trail will start across the road from the park office near the entrance.
Good hike. Easy to find, and navigate. Most of the trail I would rate as easy, because there are not many steep inclines, and 80% of it was a wide, well worn path. Some navigating of rocks, but nothing "strenuous".
Great to see rock climbers and good views from the top on a clear day.
Fun and easy trail, but once you reach the top it is very crowded even during the off season. Also just because of the parks location, there is noise pollution the whole time from the highway.
A bit of a boring trail. Just a trek up to elevation, I would consider this moderate.
It was a very hard trail for me, trying to get back into shape. So many steps! But very proud to have completed it. I would like to go back and explore more around the top areas. It would be a great place to hike then lunch and return down the mountain. Beautiful and it wasn't very crowded.
Pretty Awesome!!!! Foggy today, amazing trail and views.
Definitely enjoyed this hike, even on a chilly, foggy and sometimes rainy day. I do not think the trail qualifies as hard at all. The sign at the trailhead says it is intermediate. The views are lovely.
Loved it! The view was amazing this time of year, great for family hiking or with a large group.
