Easy hike in natural settings for 1.7 miles in and out. Peaceful.

Hiked it with my wife 31 Mar 2018. It's a nice, benign trail super close to us in Midland, NC. Pops out a few times to the Rocky River. Lots of birds, including some busy woodpeckers.

Question: At the parking lot there is a sign with trail details and a nice picture. The picture is of a large, rocky section of what we are guessing is some section of the Rocky River. You do not see this wide, rocky section of the rocky river on this hike.

Where do we go to find this sweet looking, rocky section of the Rocky River???

Thanks!
