Best walking/running trail in Greensboro. I’ve done this trail nearly 10 times now and it’s still my go to cardio trail. Whether you’d like to run it or walk it, it’s a stunning trail that travels along Lake Brandt. Another great part of this trail is that it’s nearly completely shaded which keeps things cool during the harsh summers. Must do if you’re in the piedmont area! Consider kayaking/boating on Lake Brandt as well!

Easy trail, not much elevation. Some nice lake views, lots of bikes...

Didn't much care for. Way too many people. Trails had muddy conditions. And people on top on each other. No social distancing at all.

Very clean hike. I got caught in a thunderstorm because I went in blindly without checking the weather report or the actual mileage. Lol. I will be back with my bike next time. I always like to hike a good trail before I bike it if I can.

Hiked 3/28/2020: Very easy loop around the lake. Trails are clean, clearly marked, and fairly devoid of large rocks and roots. One issue for hikers would have to be the amount of trail bikers to be contended with during the entire 5 mile loop. We found ourselves dodging mountain bikes the entire trip. Overall, I'd hike this again, but not on a weekend, and probably during the winter months.

This is my go to trail for just about everything. Super nice and maintained and has some rooty areas, but they aren't bad. It does get pretty muddy after a heavy rain, but what trail doesn't?

This is a beautiful trail along Brandt Lake. I parked at the Wildlife Center at Bur-Mill Park and passed runners, hikers and mountain bikers on the hike. I wasn't expecting the hike on the greenway to be so long but it felt like it added another 1.5 miles to get back to the car. I saw a herd of deer, lots of birds and what appeared to be a great blue heron.

Fun trail with some climbs. The trail can be biked both directions. I ran I to two other bikers going the other way as me but I had plenty of space to move out of their way.

Walked this trail with my wife and two dogs. Plenty of shade, several places to stop and take a breather. Wonderful woody lake scenery!
