Neverland's Outer Loop is a 1.9 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Chapel Hill, North Carolina that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Very solid for casual hikes. Listed as moderate but I felt like this was easier than some others along the pumpkin trail. Accidentally went backwards but it’s a loop so no harm no foul
Not as crowded here as it was over the weekend, but still quite crowded. It was a nice trail in the woods. Most of the creeks and streams are dried up. It was a great day and I made it back to my truck just as it began to sprinkle. I had to follow along with the alltrail map because there are many times other trails cross this and it doesn't say which path is the same trail.
Variety of terrain and sights. very well maintained and easy to follow route.
Enjoyable trail. For those who aren't aware, the Neverland Outer and Inner Loop can be done together as one continuous circuit, and the numbered markers that appear along the route are sequenced accordingly. The inner loop includes numbers 1-12; the outer loop numbers 13-22.
This is my go to daily trail! My dog and I absolutely love it! It’s fairly low trafficked and fairly peaceful. It doesn’t have that much elevation so if you want a more challenging trail I would go to old crow. I don’t understand why people give such bad ratings for the north forest trails.. it’s quiet and you don’t run into people every 10minutes like the others around here. Highly recommend!
