This is an easy and very kid friendly trail. The main feature here is Moore Cove Falls which is about 50ft high and pours over a rock overhang. A couple of sections tend to be muddy but it's easy to bypass the mud. This is a must see for families.

This is a beautiful waterfall, and the trail is doable for a solo hiker. You can stand behind and under the waterfall and the view is beautiful!

This easy to moderate hike is a short out and back type trail. Easy access and updated trail care with bridges and boardwalks make it and easy hike for beginners and families. The falls are a fun area for picture taking and wading in the water.

Great trail for families. People brought small dogs on the trail. Some steps, but very easy and well kept. Gorgeous views and lots of areas to break away from the trail.

More of a walk than a hike. Short easy trail to an interesting waterfall and a small shallow pool. Continue up stream for a bit more of a challenge. Gets a little slippery but my 10&11 year olds were able to go for about another 1/3 mile.

Super easy trail. It’s perfect if you want to spend time in nature and don’t have time for a long hike. Small, beautiful waterfall at the end is a great place to clear your head or simply take in the scenery.

Easy trail with a beautiful waterfall you can walk behind. Great for kids since it's not hard and a short length.

My wife and I hiked this. Very easy trail, a few steps, some platform walkways, and a few bridges. Really good foliage to observe. Wide path with not a lot of rocks. It has some moderate grade hills, but all in all easy. Short hike is well worth the reward. Waterfall area has a pool for swimming and you can walk behind and to the top of falls. Would recommend to all if you're looking for an easy stroll through the forest during an afternoon.

Great place for my first North Carolina hike, since it was short and fairly easy. Obviously, I’m a beginner. There were a lot of roots and embedded stones on the trail. Lessons of the day: 1) watch where I’m walking, and, 2) stop if I want to take a picture.

Short, easy trail! Loved being surrounded by the trees as much as seeing the falls. Remember to be safe around waterfalls, friends!

Not much to say here. Beautiful waterfall just a short walk off of the BRP. Easy for kids, elderly and dogs. Make the quick trip if you're passing by.

I loved this waterfall. It's an easy hike on a heavily trafficked trail. You can actually climb down behind the falls and feel the mist. I would do this trail again and again.

Great trail leading up to a beautiful waterfall. One creek bridge had collapsed but is still easy to cross. Lots of unleashed dogs running around though.
