Great Sunday walk. There’s distance and incline variations. Trail was well kept and easy to follow. Park was also really well kept.

This is currently the only trail at Mayo River State Park, which is still being developed. It is a nice two-mile loop through the woods with many interpretive signs. It follows a picturesque creek for a short distance not far from the trailhead. For small kids, there is a TRACK trail that loops back for a distance of about a half mile. There are two small lakes near the facilities and parking areas. The park does not yet have a trail that provides access to the Mayo River.
