From Greenville take hwy 276 north over Caesars Head and into North Carolina., Turn right onto Cascade Lake Road. Turn right onto Staton Rd. and proceed past the bridge and parking area on left. The next parking area on right will be Lake Imaging. Park there and follow the trail from there

This was a very easy and short walk. There is a little fishing pond and there are fish here. The water is so clear you can see the fish swimming halfway across the pond, with the right lighting.

There is a picnic shelter and it would be a great place to take the kids for a little outing.

Worst Trailhead Map ever! U need X-ray vision to discern anything on this map! Stupid! Lots of bikers...trail muddy at lots of places...not well marked trails...burnout there in 2010-leaves only at the to of trees-going back to beautiful Pisgah Forest tomorrow!

This trail is average. A large portion of it is on a wide road and not nearly as pleasant as the smaller portions of trail. Better offerings in the area or change the route to stay off the road.
