Great easy trail. A little muddy in spots, but not bad. We detoured off of conservation road trail, which made the trail much more enjoyable not sticking to the gravel road. The lakes were pristine! Water was so clear! Nice rushing water views as well!

Easy hike. The Pitch Pine and Triple Lake portion aren't used as much so it is a great way to avoid the crowds at DuPont.

This is part of DuPont Forest and on my way to Bridal Veil Falls. I'm not sure what a former reviewer was talking about, but the easier way to Dense Lake is main parking lot by High Falls. It's not a long hike taking Joanna Road. I personally don't like hiking 30minutes on gravel, so took Pitch Pine Trail right after getting on Conservation Rd. from the Covered Bridge. Love this trail, quiet and peaceful. PItch Pine weaves around and leads to Joanna Rd and Triple Lake Trail (Dense Lake)
