This trail starts at a dirt parking lot off of Elizabeth Brady Road in Hillsborough, at the entrance to the historic Occoneechee Speedway. The trail crosses a couple of bridges, climbs through forests, descends back to the Eno River, and winds it way through mountain laurel thickets until it ends at a highway bridge. It is part of the NC Mountain to Sea trail.
