Mine Creek Trail: Ironwood Section is a 2.4 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Raleigh, North Carolina that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Connecting North Hills Drive to W. Millbrook, the mostly flat paved Ironwood Greenway is a good connector from Crabtree to Shelley Lake and good for biking and walks; can get crowded.
