Nice greenway. Was too short for me or maybe I just didn’t know where all the connections are even though I tried every fork.

I took the trail on a sunny cool day and only saw one other person the whole time. Out of nowhere a cloud came over and dropped rain about 1/3rd of the way through. Thankfully, it wasn't enough to soak through since I left the raincoat in the truck! I walked through Hinshaw to Pirate's Cove and back to the vehicle, making this a loop. I parked at the church and called to ask permission. They were fine with it. I saw another vehicle park right off the side of the road at the Greenway Sign. Other than that, there is no parking at the beginning of this greenway.

Nice trail, looks family and dog friendly. Did not do the Pirates Cove section, instead went over US1 to the end of Hinshaw.

First to Review

Great 2.5 mile paved stroll with a few inclines along two beautiful oak, beech and maple forested greenway trails, paralleling two creeks.During all seasons the trees are inspiring. A peaceful scenic walk and good workout within the city, lots of dog walkers, some bicycles, mostly just those of us who enjoy a hike in the woods. Highly recommend this if you're in Cary! One thing to note - to make it a loop, you need to go on Greenwood Circle - one entrance is near the false cut- through towards Walnut St. and the other near the Hindu Temple near Maynard Rd.
