Go past the Hooker Falls Access to High Falls Access Area on the left. Waterfall Safety Warning Provided by the Dupont Forest website: WARNING: Although beautiful to see, waterfalls can be very dangerous. Every year people fall TO THEIR DEATH after a slip on wet rocks above and around waterfalls in the area. Never climb or slide on waterfalls, or swim, wade or play in the water above a waterfall. Children must be constantly supervised when visiting waterfalls. Do not allow pets to roam freely. It is easy to underestimate the slickness of rocks and the strong flow of water. Stay on the established trails and enjoy the view from the overlooks.
Great trail. A portion was closed so the loop wasn’t possible but it was still a great hike. Beautiful falls. Not crowded at all.
Beautiful, but half of the trail was closed off making it less exciting.
Parts of the trail are closed. Including the eastern portion of the loop that connects high falls to triple falls. The western part of the loop is still open. You can still see all the falls, but you will have to go the long way around. Still a fun hike and not muddy
Several parts of this trail closed. Could not do loop and did not see High Falls or Hooker Falls at the end.
A little busy but so beautiful. Mostly flat hike and can make longer by taking different loops
First hike of the new year and it was amazing. The trails are wide and very well-maintained. It was cloudy but the falls were beautiful. Definitely go down to the base of Highfalls and walk along the edge to the rocks just below the falls for a Misty experience. The backside of the Triple Falls loop is much quieter if you’re looking for a peaceful walk back to the parking area.
We were there about 5 days ago. Beautiful waterfalls and an overall wonderful experience. Some icy patches where it was shady. We got there around mid morning and the parking lot was already filling up and it was packed by the time we left. We had a great time even for novice hikers!
Beautiful waterfalls, but lots of people, pets, drones, etc. I found a little peace and quiet on the way back up I took the backside loop of the Triple Falls loop which is less traveled. Definitely recommend for the waterfalls, and a great place to take out-of-town visitors, but I probably won't go back until I'm taking a guest.
