My kids and I love this trail.

If you’re wanting to see Hebron Falls just go ahead and do the entire Boone Fork Trail backward, so you save the falls for close to the end. Nobody likes a there a back hike as much as a loop anyway, right?

This is a great kid friendly and dog friendly trail. As has been mentioned before, it's part of the Boone Fork Trail Loop. Starting from the picnic grounds, you go to the right on the Boone Fork Trail from the trail sign near the restrooms. At one point, you come to a nice metal bridge going over the creek. Do not take the bridge, stay to the left. Shortly after that you will hear falls and see trails going down to the river with beautiful pools just right for wading. Make sure the kids bring their bathing suits because it's very kid-friendly here. The falls aren't spectacular, but the beauty and easy access make this a great hike!

I should have realized this trail is actually a portion of the Boone Fork Trail, which we’d already done. It is an awesome hike though. We took our boys, ages 7 and 9, and 2 dogs. Be sure to let the kids wear bathing suits, as they’ll have a blast playing in the river. The trail is not marked as Hebron Falls though. You’ll just follow Boone Fork Trail to the right at the sign in the Price parking area, where there are restrooms.

We loved this trail! It was shaded all the way, beautiful with lots of little areas to relax by the river. Our five year old did well and we didn’t find it to strenuous for him at all. Great “pay out” for kids!

Ok this trail was awesome!! So scenic and no too strenuous. BUT it was sooo hard to find we almost gave up. The picnic Julian price (or whatever) picnic area that maps will take you to has 3 trailheads. Theres a sign and the boone fork trail will be straight ahead. Take the trail to your immediate right once you are in the field. You should pass by a sign that says Old Lake on it and you should be following the river downstream. That is how you get to Hebron Rock Falls! Watch out for snakes as well once on the rocks. Get hikin’!

Had a great time with all the views, creek crossings and water falls! Going to get your feet wet for sure! Worse issue is trail needs some TLC. Erosion is rampant.

Super fun. Not hard AT ALL. just watch your footing. The rocks can be super slick. I’m seen so pretty bad injuries out here (both humans and dogs).

Very pretty waterfalls. Highly recommend it. I would say this trail is moderate and strenuous going back up.

Fantastic hike with great falls. Trail is hard to find (not well marked). Entrance is off the picnic area.

excellent adventure. beautiful water falls. we hiked down from the Hebron Falls sign to the bottom of the falls and climbed the boulders back up to the top. some of the rock climbing can be slippery and there are several dangerous spots if caution isn't used. but totally manageable and remarkably beautiful.

Very nice moderate hike. The falls are beautiful. Wear correct footwear, areas are slippery and trail can be very muddy after rain. Great outing to pack a lunch and carry it on your back.

Fun rock climbing experience for sure. Wouldn’t recommend taking dogs, they may slip and fall easily. Make sure you wear shoes with good grip. Would be really fun to do when it’s warm outside.

Favorite trail in Boone area!

Very muddy right now, wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty and have nonslip soles. Very pretty, even though most colorful leaves have fallen.

This is one of my favorite all time hikes. Easy to moderate hike and once you get to the rocks it’s really beautiful.

This is actually part of the Boone Fork Loop trail. Located just off the BRPKWY across from Julian Price Lake. There is plenty of parking and picnic areas. There are bathrooms right next to the parking lot. You can either hike out and back to Hebron Rocks or continue past them and do the full loop. The trail was fairly level and had lots of different scenic points along the way. Hebron Rocks is a large, beautiful outcropping with waterfalls. We just hiked out and back. Took about 3 hours. Would definitely go again.

It was too fun to rock jump up to the top and sit under a rock with a waterfall right beside us. My dog loved it! Great workout.

just a heads up to those going counter clockwise on the Boone fork loop... do NOT cross the new large metal bridge. That takes you onto the MST (mountains to sea trail) and johns river rd to the parkway. there aren't any falls that way! instead, look on rocks for trail arrows to the left of the bridge.

Enjoyed hiking to the falls today. The trail was very well maintained though a little muddy in spots. The hardest part of the trail was the hike down to the falls and back. We stopped several times on the way to the falls to play on the rocks and to enjoy the scenery. I would recommend doing this hike in the morning if you like a quiet hike. We began our hike around 9:30/10 with very little traffic. The traffic on the trail picked up quite a bit around noon (surprised about this since it's Thursday).

When you arrive at the Destination (parking lot) provided by AllTrails, look for directions to Boone Fork Trail. Hebron falls is a part of the Boone Fork Trail, you won't find separate markers. Although this is a moderate to easy trail in parts, recent rain made for a very muddy hike for us. The trail was slippery in parts and we made good use of our hiking sticks. The Hebron waterfalls are picturesque, the perfect spot for selfies. Be sure to pack water and snacks. It's a good 4 miles in all and your crew is bound to get hungry by the time you are done.

We loved our hike to Hebron Falls. The scenery was incredible and hopping from rock to rock was so much fun. An experience unlike any other.
