Flower Hill Nature Preserve Trail is a 0.9 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Middlesex, North Carolina that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is best used from March until May. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Flower Hill Nature Preserve is a 10-acre property owned by the Triangle Land Conservancy in Johnston County, NC. The 10 acres encompass steep bluffs above Moccasin Creek that shelters a unusual Piedmont plant community.

Very good trail with nice scenery. Trial goes thru mixed hardwood forest along relatively high bluff overlooking creek. Went in winter so most all leaves were off trees. Trail was surprisingly well marked. Only negative is that it is too short but definitely worth a return trip.

It's not well marked and all in all a very short walk. It's not worth driving a long distance for. Disappointed...
