I took Flat Rock Ridge up from Long Bottom Rd and came down Grassy Gap. Nice trail and saw no one the entire time. The turn off for Grassy Gap from the MST was not marked (that I could see). You must open the metal gate to get on the fire road. Mostly forest views with a couple of peephole views of mountains.

This trail was overall a good trail to hike. The flat rock trail was almost all down hill, so it's an easy hike. (Assuming you parked up on the parkway) The grassy gap loop was fairly easy as well. It's also big enough for horse back riding (as suggested), and the climb back up isn't to bad. Nothing rocky or hard, just a steady incline. The only downside is on the grassy gap trail, their are a couple of creek crossings where unless you find a way around or have a horse, you're probably gonna get your feet wet trying to get across. Aside from that, great trail, and I plan on going back again at some point.
