There were 3 separate trial you could go on, the easy, moderate or difficult trail. I decided to go on the easy trail which is the tinker dream trail with my dog and it was nice but not much scenery going on. My bf took his mountain bike to sphere finger and said it was very difficult.
Great trail, balanced, good flow. Best descent I’ve ever done! Super fun! We also went up to fire tower and back down. Trail was not as well maintained with lots of trees blocking the way, and very steep uphill. I recommend just staying within the MB trails.
It was a great experience. My 7 year old went to the top and did Kessel Run on the way day! We all had a blast taking on Fire Mountain! We came back day 2 and rode again.
About half of Fire Mountain Trails. Great trails in super shape.
Walked Tinker’s Dream and Lazy Elk trails and it was a nice easy to moderate trail for our dogs and kids. 6 yr old daughter made it with no struggle. Well maintained and no issues with bikes on the trails as they are plenty wide to pass with ease!
Loved this trail! but I really hated seeing all the trash toward the top of fire tower. I'm hoping someone sees this before going up and is willing to bring a trash bag along. I gathered up all the trash I could find in a single pile for easy clean up...but I had no way to get it all down. if you're reading this before hiking it, please consider packing a bag and carrying it down to help keep this trail beautiful and clean :)
This is a great bike trail system it has Green-Beginner,Blue-Intermediate,Red-Difficult. All the trails have ups and downs with hard packed not a lot of roots and few rocks except for the rock gardens and there are 3 on the red trail which is one way only. the other trails are two way traffic there is no easy trail up but worth the climb. this is a new trail just opened. Has fast down hill with jumps and berms 3 log rides all and all it is a awesome trail.
