Epic view easy walk mostly steps. You will get wet slightly walking under the waterfall. Hard to find parking but if you keep circling you’ll find a spot because the trail is super quick to see and leave.

It’s not a hike, but a walk. Just be careful during this time of year, winter, as puddles are actually frozen and it’s very slippery. Easy little L shape walk.

Right off the road. An easy walk to get behind the falls. Worth a quick stop if you are nearby

Not really a “trail”, but still beautiful! Worth the trip to see the falls!

Very easy down and up and unusual aspect of being behind the waterfall. We brought our raincoats because it was January. Probably didn't need them but we did get wet.

Don’t let the name fool you. We did this short easy walk a day after it snowed and the forest below looked amazing. You’re sure to get a light mist if you walk behind the waterfall. Great view!

Gorgeous waterfall that was anything but dry! Was thankful for my hooded rain jacket. The views from all sides were spectacular but especially so from behind the falls. Well worth the drive and short easy walk from the parking lot.

Easy walk but was very icy (we went on 12/30). Great waterfall - love that we were able to walk behind it.

Especially gorgeous with all the recent snow.. The path down was quite icy and very slippery but well worth the risk in the right shoes!

Trail was spectacular! Steps leading down to the fall were well maintained and built for public use, unlike some other nearby falls. The experience was unique because you can walk behind the fall. It is definitely not dry as there is a lot of mist coming off the rocks. Definitely go see it because it is just off the main road and not a far walk.

One of my favorite little hikes I’ve done! Thanks to my air bnb neighbor who recommended this to us on our trip to NC. Parking lot was half way full on a weekday when we went, can only imagine it being really packed on a weekend. Wonderful opportunity of a lifetime to ever walk behind a waterfall. Lots of good photo opportunities as well for the social media lovers out there. There is a $3 parking fee that you’ll have to pay via website that you could do from your phone and most people don’t realize it, but it’s to help maintain and upkeep the area.

Amazing view of the waterfall. You can even walk under it! Everything is paved and you also get an overview. Please don’t throw your trash over the fence!!!!

Perfect for a short walk to an amazing waterfall if you’re not in the mood for an actual hike. It was absolutely raging after all the rain. Incredible.
