Nice loop with 3 waterfalls. Beginning portion is perfect start for trail run (you could keep going not on the loop to run). Loop is easy well maintained trail.

The trail was a little muddy, but in great shape overall. Enjoyed the falls and the wildflowers.

Short but beautiful trail passing by 3 stunning waterfalls. Would definitely recommend!

We did the loop counter clockwise, and thought it would be easy as foretold. However, this actually is a more moderate hike, with exposed roots and various steep hills. I'm glad I brought my trekking pole. Awesome views, would do again! It took us 5 hours to do the whole loop, walking casually and taking occasional breaks.

This was a great trail. Steep incline definitely more moderate level. We did it backwards so it might have been easier the other way — a more gradual incline. Don’t miss Indian Creek Falls as it is probably the most spectacular!

Hiked this trail with my mom and dad, who are in their 50's, fiance and myself, early 30's and my three kiddos who are 6, 9, and 11. We packed a lunch and some snacks with plenty of water. We did the steep part first and enjoyed taking it a little easier for the remainder. We had beautiful weather and loved sightseeing.

Easy trail. Watch for horse apples if you do the loop. Watch for dog piles too, some people have no respect. Nice sound from the river and nice water falls. It was a good, quick hike to let us stretch our legs mid-road trip.

A beautiful, quiet February hike that didn't disappoint. Hiked it clockwise so we did the steep portion at the beginning and saved the beautiful falls and walk along Deep Creek for the end.

This was a nice trail, the first half is fairly easy, great hike to do with family and young kids. I was solo so after completing half the loop, before it hooks back and starts it’s elevation, I saw a sign for the cemetery. I should have read the hand written note on the sign. The trail to the cemetery is about 0.7 miles and ALL uphill. It’s not very scenic and not part of the loop but an extension to it. There are three tombstones at the top for the Wiggins family. If you want to add another 1.5 miles to the loop, add the cemetery trail to it, just remember, after hiking uphill to the cemetery and retracing back down, you’ll be hiking back uphill again to finish the loop. My elevation gain was 624 feet, less than 100 feet of that was the first half of the loop. The full loop without the cemetery is listed as 456 feet.

Beautiful, well kept trail with a lot of scenery. The waterfalls are perfect for pictures. This one trailhead offers options for a handful of different trails ranging from longer to shorter distances.

Easy and lovely but the trail itself is somewhat boring. Gorgeous creek and scenery.

A great trail that features the Juney Whank Falls, the Indian Creek Falls and the Tom Branch Falls. All beautiful falls, even without there having been much rain before our visit. We saw just enough people to not feel isolated but it we felt like it had it mostly to ourselves a lot of the way.

Waterfalls exceeded expectation. Solid payoff for a relatively easy hike. We got caught in the rain and had to hurry out, but would definitely do again. Leaves just starting to change, but in a few weeks will be even better

Very nice trail. You can see three falls on this one. You follow the river for the first part and climb very slowly. You can see the first two falls in that part of the trail. After you cross a small bridge you climb steadily and start heading back. You come across Juney Whank Falls for the third and final fall.

Really enjoyed this trail. Started counterclockwise and thought the first two falls were the best two. First one was pretty crowded with tubers but once we got past it and past the second there were not many people. Really wide and well maintained. Great trail to see some cool waterfalls in the Smokies!

Took the three-fall loop. It was early summer, and creeks were well fed by melt ice so that all three falls looked amazing. Well maintained trails shaded by bunch of trees. Good for family and it should be able to give you an good impression about the Smokies.

Beautiful trail! Great waterfalls to see. Busy when you start from the parking lot, but really becomes quiet when you get on in the trail. There are some moderate inclines in the middle, but very doable for most people. Worth your time!

Easy trail, Great for young kids! We took our 2 and 5 year old. 5 year old walked the entire way and 2 year old was only carried for some of the narrow parts with steep drop offs on the side (much to his dismay).

Really enjoyed this hike. Ended up at 4 miles with parking and a detour to the cemetery, which we gave up on. Some uphill, but plenty of places to play in the water and stuff to see to keep it fun for a 6 and 7 year old. We tried to go to the cemetery, but it was too far and a steep uphill walk. Plus, two returning hikers said they’d seen a bear.

perfect beginner hike, kid friendly. the incline might be a little tough for beginners without poles, but the incentive of a waterfall every mile is a pretty good motivator!
