The Cypress Point Loop Trail, blazed with blue circles, begins at the trail intersection near the Rockefeller House. This easy .75-mile loop trail leads to a peninsula overlooking the Millpond and back to the James S. Rockefeller Trail. Along the way, you'll encounter historic structures and a fishing access footpath along the Millpond.

A nice side trip, not a big destination park. Carver's Creek has a lot of potential, especially after the dam is repaired.

This is private property, but we talked with the owner and were able to hike. Eventually it backs up into Carvers Creek State Park. I wouldn't hike here without permission.

Nice trail! No one else was on it. Recommend taking picture of trail map as most trails are well labeled. However Gilbert Yager Trail is hardly marked. Overall will definitely come back!!
