Absolutely beautiful rain or shine. The greenway follows a sprawling creek with several large wooden bridge crossings. Moderate traffic. Great for dogs and kids.

It was raining, but we got in a good little hike. This trail is paved but the scenery is beautiful.

Great trail for walking, jogging, cycling, etc. Almost entirely covers with shade and nicely paved except at few stretches. Nice for dog walking too.

Start at west end (easy parking at Saxonbury Way) and ride eastbound to end, turn around and add an additional couple miles to ride by taking the spur towards Toby Creek and UNCC. Whole thing makes for an easy 12- mile or so ride. Weekdays are especially peaceful. Trail is entirely paved except for one mile in middle.

Decent trail for road biking, just don’t try to park at the school when the kids are getting out because the road is blocked by parents trying to pick up the kids. You could probably park in one of the neighborhoods that the trail passes. Not very steep for multi-gear bikes, majority of the greenway is relatively flat.

I tried to access the trail (bike on a rack on top of my car) but it was at the end of the elementary school’s day (around 4pm) and the road entering the park was blocked by cars lined up to pick up their kids from classes. Make sure you time it when you can get in unless you’re walking or riding your bike to it.

A serene and relaxing trail. Less crowded, dog-friendly with great views. Perfectly shaded. Needs more signages, we got lost couple of times and had to get help from other hikers. Overall, enjoyed our hike.

Very easy beginner greenway. All paved and flat. If you do the whole greenway the distance is 5.3 miles from the elementary school entrance.

I walked the loops across the prairie, down to the creek, and around the pond. The birds are fantastic at this preserve. I imagine spring is better than fall.
