I dont understand why they keep this trail open or it is even in the list of the trails . There are no signs, its not maintained. Its so easy to get lost and there will be no way out . They shud either have signs everywhere or just shut it down properly. I guess they will take some action only when someone gets seriously lost or hurt. . And the map also does not give you right directions .

Definitely not one of my favorite trails. nothing really eye catching. everything was burnt down and didn't feel like I was in nature at all.

There is no parking. The trail itself isn't too bad, however there isn't much to see. If you wish to just have a nice conversation and walk this is the perfect place.

I would keep this app up while you hike, easy to get turned around but a great hike through a meadow. When you get there I recommend going left at the trailhead walking through the woods first.

Nice warm-up trails to get day started or to wind the day down. I have began recording each of the trails in McDowell park with some basic comments.

Everything has been burned down so not pretty at all. Stay on rocks there is not a loop as shown. Will not go back.

This isn’t quite accurate. There are numerous trails to explore. It totals over 10 miles of fresh tracks. As far as difficulty is concerned, there are parts that are very challenging. I highly recommend it for intermediate trail runners!

It's a loop that didn't. Maybe nicer in the Spring.

Took the dogs to this trail today and it was only us. Very peaceful with a lot of nice views. Simple hike but still enjoyable.

I enjoyed this walk through an area where there have been strong efforts made to cultivate native botanicals. There are no bikes allowed so it made the experience more peaceful. We saw many examples of of flora, fungi and numerous deer tracks. It is a relatively flat terrain. If walked in a counter clock-wise direction, it starts with sunny open meadow views with a picnic area at the midpoint and ends with forest glen vistas. This walk wold be appropriate for people who have difficulty with inclines.

Not sure we were suppose to be biking but nobody stopped us. There were many nice side trails we never got to.

Beautiful day and a nice ride.

Many short trails that can be combined to make a longer hike. Saw several people fishing but the trails were not crowded. Several picnic areas scattered throughout and a nature center.
