Cape Hatteras Beach is a 12.8 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Buxton, North Carolina that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, nature trips, and bird watching and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.

The directions to the trail took me to a spot between vacation houses so I didnt find a spot to park and walk, and from the pictures I thought this was a wooded/paved trail , so I actually didnt go on the trail as I wasn’t planning on walking in the sand, so that part wasnt clear to me that really is in the beach sand
