Easy. Temperature was a few degrees cooler along the river. Not crowded. We parked in the Lowe’s parking lot and crossed the street at crosswalk. It would be wonderful if there was a was to cross the river to visit the brewery and BBQ but only option we saw was the highway which does have room for pedestrians and moving vehicles to cross bridge at same time but that does have much to do with trail so didn’t deduct any stars. Maybe a little to simple to do again. Would consider biking the trail.
Rode the trail this morning with the family and we all loved it! Nice easy trail. We parked at the Sports Complex and headed left out of there towards Lowes. After crossing the highway at Lowes, the trail is gravel and goes beside the river. We rode to the end and then through the Davidson River Campground and all the loops before heading back past the Sports Complex and went all the way to where it starts to cross the road again near Arbys. We had to turn around here as we had other plans we had to get to. We will definitely be back again! 13.13 miles for our trip today.
