Very nice hike. Lots of interesting plants, including Venus Fly Traps, insects and animals. beautiful to see all the new growth after what looks like a fire came through a few years ago.

Great trail, relatively speaking. I mean, this isn’t Asheville. But still, we were pleasantly surprised to find a trail this nice in our area. Mostly sun, but a good amount of shade as well. I imagine it’s pretty hot and buggy in the summer, but overall a great trail for people and pets in winter, spring and fall.

We went when it was 45 degrees and it was perfect. My LO, pup, and I had the place to ourselves. Mellow, flat walk with all woods!

We went 1 week ago. Weather was nice and trail was well marked. We were able to do the whole trail. Make sure to follow the red markers in some areas that lead you to a bridge to keep your feet dry. Even though there were plenty of trees, I would imagine it would be very hot in the summer. Nice trail. Would recommend it!

Very pretty, sandy trail but he actual loop section was filled with water. We off-roaded it a bit to make up the length.

Limbs/trees are still down on the path and there are some flooded parts that were challenging to cross. We couldn’t complete the last part due to flooding. If it was maintained a little better, I think this would be a very nice, flat trail.

Nice trail but know that it floods after rain. Parts of trail are submerged in 6-8 inches of water.
