we made it up to the old lodge area. It was in March and it snowed that day! There is markings up past the sign board about the history of the area, not sure if the blue and the white make the loop?

Love this trail..we live here in Asheville and are on this trail a lot..very dog friendly trail and beautiful.

This trail had some beautiful views on the way to the old homestead area. We saw several people on this trail. I suggest reading the directions online for "signposts" to know you're still on the trail, as some of it is overgrown. The energy of the area is good too. I look forward to hiking this trail again someday.
