The 3.0 mile RT Black Jack Ridge trail connects to Cedar Rock and Wolf Rock trails in Stone Mountain State Park, and follows an old road bed through heavily wooded areas. In the winter, this strenuous hike offers wonderful views of Stone Mountain.

Hike beneath and along a ridge facing away from Stone Mountain, which is obscured as you walk through old growth hardwoods. Beautiful big trees along the way. Better views from Wolf and Cedar Rocks.

Pretty wooded trail with a good elevation change. I probably will come back in the winter to check on those views of Stone Mountain.
