The views are beautiful almost the entire hike! Good for people that want and easy, short hike with lots of visual payoff. You can easily make it longer by continuing on Art Loeb though. It is heavily trafficked though and the parking lot is so small so parking can be an issues on crowded days. There is a bathroom to use in the main parking lot. It’s easy to get off of the main trail because the trails are not marked and there are several small feeder trails but they generally all go to the same place so it’s not a big deal! If it’s been raining the trails will be very flooded.

Love this hike - I’d say pretty easy (nothing too strenuous/pretty flat in my limited opinion). The only negative is the day I went they had a prescribed burn so the air quality wasn’t great but that was an unfortunate one off. Go on this hike!

It's a lovely hike with impressive views almost everywhere! One of the two trails that leads to the top Mt. Tennet has seen better days. Very rocky and rough. Some large rocks are placed in front of this trailhead. Taking the trail to the left is much easier.

It was a great hike! First hike I’ve brought my dog on in a long time and she was a pro. She loved it. Really nice views without too much work getting there. Super windy so the icy air was numbing but it was definitely worth it.

One of the easiest hikes with the best views. One of the best Sunrise/Sunset hikes. Parking is roadside only and can be crowded.

Nice easy trail. It was fairly icy and muddy so make sure you wear secure hiking boots for this time of year. Great views! (I recommend wearing a mask or face covering to hide your nose and mouth from the cold air)

Nature tripsGreat!Rocky

I did this trail 2 weeks ago, this is a late post. This was my first official hike; I’m a newbie. We got there at 7am and we were the only ones there until we got back down to the parking area. The weather was amazing by mid morning. The trail was pretty easy for a beginner and I definitely was, so I would recommend this trail for beginner hikers.
