Fun, first hiking trail of the year. Easy trail with water views.
I've hiked, ran and mountain biked this trail. One of my favorites when trying to get a quick workout in. Nice mix of hills and flats, even on a short loop. Beautiful views of the lake, a couple creeks and a good connector to the greenway and other trails nearby for a longer workout. Not super secluded (driving range, park office, multiple playgrounds and greenway nearby) so I feel pretty safe on this trail. (I always recommend taking pepper-spray into the woods or on a multi-use trail!)
Nice easy trail fun for all! Not too many bikers when we went so that was nice
Quick, easy, and full of squirrels for the dogs to stare at! The pond at the end was beautiful
Nice easy trail for a brief spring hike
