Relaxing hike close to Asheville NC. The hike up is moderately challenging with a few views from the woods. The trip down is mostly along an old fire access road with nicer views, but is quite easy and a bit boring.

Really liked this one. Very pretty. Trails were super well-maintained. Markers say “more difficult” but it’s really not bad at all

Excellent little trail with a variety of alternative trails that connect to this one. Most of these trails allow mountain biking so if you are planning to hike this area be ready to deal with the bikers. I did notice a couple of the trails are dedicated to hiking only, this is not one.

Great non-technical climb that peaks at 5 miles from from the parking area. The downhill is fast and has a few spots that require concentration including a few constructed jumps. The jumps can be avoided for those that want to keep their wheels on the ground. At over 12 miles and 1,800+ feet of climbing this is a great workout.

We wanted a short hike but found no trail maps and paths in many directions that made it confusing. Great trail but suggest better trail markers or maps.

Favorite place in the world. It's a "choose your own adventure" with all the optional trails. You can do 4, 6, 8, or 9 mile loops with ease. Great trail running

Love the Greens Lick off of Pint Tree. Downhill trail you better be ready. If it is raining it can be treacherously fun.

A very nice system of trails. Choose easy or hard trails. My favorite by far is Ingles Field Gap and Deer Lake Lodge.

Great place for mountain biking if you're looking for some place close to Asheville. Has trails for just about every kind of rider...up hill climbs as well as some really fun downhill runs.

Bent Creek is a great place to go biking on beginner or advanced singletrack trails. There are lots of trails to choose from, but be sure to have a map if you've never been here before.

Gorgeous and wicked fun area to bike around. Greenslick is a great technical downhill that is a little different and sometimes even more difficult every time I've ridden it! The trails are maintained exceptionally well and it has never in my experience been crowded because of the sheer amount of trails. The trail maps are pretty unhelpful, however, ask for directions and just explore!

Beautiful area. For my first time on these trails it was a little confusing as the bike trails didn't seem to be marked clearly in a lot of places...compared to other trails I've been on. But, we had a great time riding in the area.

This is one great mountain bike park. I did a few of the trails- Wolf Branch, Ingles Field Gap, and Greens Lick. You can make endless bike loops through here, but be sure to hit Greens Lick. It is an awesome technical downhiller that will thrill even the most hardcore mountain biker. There is also a lake and campground. The NC Arberetum is nearby. Very nice system of trails and easily accessible to Asheville, NC.

OMG. Beautiful trails. Well marked. Some easy some technical. These trails are the reason we traveled to this area.

This is not a trail but a park.
The trails range from hiking to Mountain biking from beginner to expert level. It includes lake Powhatan and a small river for fishing. The lake itself has a small beach for swimming in.
The area gets high traffic during weekends and holidays since it is the closest trail system to Asheville NC but the trails are maintained and usually very flowy.
All in all it's a great spot for a good ride.
