This is a very family friendly walking trail in Blowing Rock North Carolina. It is part of the Moses Cone Memorial Park Trail system. The hike is about one mile in length but is a beautiful walk around the lake during any season. This hiking trail is a great stretch your legs type of hike after you have been driving in the car all day. Pets are welcomed on this trail but must be on a leash.

Flat. It’s a perfect place for strollers. There’s a cool water pool at one side of the lake. There’s several species of water fowl here.

Easy trail used by many locals to walk their dogs, walk or jog. Can be very busy on weekends. Great place for fall leaf photos. PhotosByMeta

Beautiful and smooth loop to casually walk to. Grab a good friend who's good at conversations (and maybe photography too) and knock yourselves out.
