First to ReviewStopped here because the Blue Ridge Parkway was closed going to Crabtree Falls due to Covid-19. Ended up being a happy accident! Trail is right next to the Easter Continental Divide and after walking through a tunnel of rhododendrons and past an old gate, you find a tree fallen across the trail (easily climbed over) and beautiful views of the mountains. Continue on past the fallen tree and beer right at the fork and you will catch more beautiful views. We hiked with our 1 boys (2.5 and almost 5) out and back 3 miles.
