West Branch of the Sacandaga River is a 8.1 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Caroga, New York that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for canoeing and whitewater kayaking and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail.

beautiful. Paddled upstream a mile or two. turned around at a tree down across the river. Quiet and peaceful.

I felt like I was walking forever, I don't think we even made it that far, my friends and I got off the trail and explored up the river after a while and we found some pretty cool things.
