Love this trail- memorable moments include the Rosendale trestle and the bridge over the Wallkill from A Quiet Place. Bike and dog (on leash) friendly.

Lovely place with many caves to see

I love riding my mountain bike on this trail! It's bumpy, wet sometimes, I usually do the trail from Hurley to Gardiner. It's stunning from New Paltz to Gardiner!

Ruff for bikes. Lots of ruts, rocks, and mud.

Great stretch of trails perfect for gravel grinding. Bring hiking boots there's plenty to explore off the trails.

Started at trestle at Rosedale and headed south. Very nice flat walk although a bit buggy. Beautiful relaxing walk.

I did a 22 mile round trip from New Paltz to north of Rosendale. Nice flat ride but one bridge was blocked and parts were muddy. The best part was the Rosendale trestle which has nice views.

Went from Kingston to New Paltz. Great ride with some excellent views and old mines and rock formations.

I took the trail from New Paltz to Rosendale. The trail was a mixture of pavement, gravel, and dirt. There is a a really nice bridge that gives you a great view of the Walkill river. It is a nice easy flat ride for biking or walking.

Pleasant trail mostly flat gravel/cinder trail with some gentle incline/declines. Some small "off trail" side paths available to explore with access to the wallkill river. Great trail with little kids. Accessible to power wheel chairs NOT manual - the small wheels get stuck in the gravel. Fun for easy snow shoeing / xcountry skiing. Trail goes into village of New Paltz which is a great pitstop for a snack and a warm up before you head out again.
