Good hike! Well marked and well maintained. A few stream crossings and some nice views. Nice mix of woods, meadows, inclines.

A spectacular moderate hike on the FLT system. The views from Virgil Mountain are amazing! There are a few false trails along the orange-blazed section of the trail. Follow the AllTrails map and it should be easy to stay on the trail.

Great trail, a good amount of inclines along the way, narrow in some spots.

I had higher expectations for this hike. If you like hiking through the woods for the majority of the time, this is for you. I saw maybe 4 other hikers the whole time. A few stream crossings, but they were brief and not difficult to navigate. Quite a few areas of significant mud. I’m not sure where the photo of the waterfall was taken, I did not see anything like that and did the trail as this map shows. I had no service for 1/2 mile or so towards the last mile of the loop. I thought the views left more to be desired.

Great hike, definitely a little muddy because of all the rain we have received, but overall a great scenic hike!

Went in early April 2020 and was quite muddy by the start off Odell Road but a pretty hike through the woods. Took a four year old who loved playing around the streams. Not a hiker so was a bit overzealous with the child. We made it up to the top of Greek Peak but then turned back as the child was wiped out. Would do this with other adults or older children in the future as it was a great spot and only saw two people on our journey.

Lots of streams which are nice. Couple water crossings that you have to walk through but no biggie. Nice trail.

Enjoyed the uphill hike to the top despite it being pretty muddy (expected in late April). Views aren't what I'd hoped for once I got there but still a fun, moderate 4+ mile hike. I'd do it again.

Well marked! Crossed some streams. Spots at the beginning and end of the trail were fairly muddy.

It was a nice hike, however, it was extremely muddy. Trails are well marked but we did miss one marker when we near the power lines. When you drive to this location, you go down a long dirt road.

Google maps brought me in on Baldwin Rd. Do not take this road in from Dec through April. My 4WD SUV barely had enough clearance to make it. Dirt road was very muddy and crowned. Hopefully Odell Rd is in better condition

went clockwise, mud was seasonal, starts out with the white tags till you get to the powerlines then changes to orange blaze. Missed a turn at the bottom of the hill about 1/2 mile before you get back to the parking. Ended up walking down the FLT towards dryden. Keep an eye out for proper markers at the bottom of the hill. was a fun hike, nice scenery, will be back

Fun hike for a chilly spring ( technically still winter) day. There were some icy spots and some muddy spots, but overall rather enjoyable and easy. There is definitely a variety of things to see: stone walls, streams, power lines, ski slopes, snowmobile trails, valley views, conifer and deciduous woods, dirt roads... We hiked counterclockwise white to orange to white blazes. Super easy to follow and well marked.

Embarrassed to say this but somehow we got on the Fingerlakes Trail and not even sure we were on the loop. But what we hiked was beautiful. Followed the white blazes. Finally met our ‘Trail Angels’ (Myra, Jim, And Beth) from Ithaca. They had great maps from the FL and showed us where we were. We hiked back w them and they drove us to our car. On the trail for almost 6 hours. Next time I’ll be more prepared. Will definitely go back and see where we went wrong. And hike it again

Hiked with my family which included a 4 and 5 year old. It was a bit long but we all enjoyed it. Wish we had known before about the 3/4 mile stretch in the sun next to the electric lines. We went in the middle of the day and it was HOT!! There was a peek-a-boo view as we enter back into the woods which was nice but not spectacular.

excellent hike with very well beaten paths that are easy to follow. It was a joy to come across some unexpected long views out-of-the-woods. Keep an eye on your map because there are many dirt road crossings.

Great trail! Make sure to bushwhack a little ways to the ski lift, it's cool. This is the highest spot in Cortland County. It is well marked via both a disc and a survey marker at the summit.
