This was a great hike for the family and our two dogs. We spent a couple hours hiking and exploring the trails. We saw lots if beautiful scenery and sights. The water was super refreshing!

Heavy traffic but a nice trail. Does get muddy in some parts but leads down into the water with a beautiful view of the gorge. There was a lot of people when we hiked which was very annoying. Most people did not understand how to share the trail and would not step to the side even at the most narrow points in the trail. I recommend visiting during the week and not on the weekend.

This was a great hike. The kids loved wading in the water, playing with frogs and baby snapping turtles.. extremely refreshing and beautiful. The only down side is in the beginning there are many annoying bugs.. little bees and biting flies. Might just have been the heat or time of day we went.. otherwise it was definitely a great trek and a HUGE workout for your walk back up the hill

Fun hike, combined it with the flats trail and followed the creek a bit south. Good time!

I loved this trail. It is one of my favorite recent hikes. Not too hard and not too easy. The trail is decently muddy and VERY narrow but the views and water make it quite worth it. Definitely would not recommend for young children or older folks.

Love the flats to chill in the water on a hot day but lots of water snakes!

Trails were still a little muddy but easy going. Heavy traffic today but everyone was very polite and distancing nicely

Beautiful views and lots of wildlife! The trail was a little muddy at places, but it was easy enough to get through. At the first fork I highly recommend taking the path to the left first. It’s not part of the AllTrails listed trail, but it is a marked trail and it leads up about a half mile to an overlook spot where you can look down into the gorge.

One of my favorites. The views never get old. If the creek is high, go back when it’s low and hike the south branch to forty rd. My children have done this hike many times starting when they were 7&9, down the gorge only.

Nice little trail that takes you down to the creek safely. It was pretty muddy but my friends and I didn't mind. After you get to the creek, there's so much exploring to do if you're willing to get your feet wet. Definitely a great place to be during warm summer months.

Pretty cool to be able to walk down near the water and also get a vantage point from up top. Pretty short, yet fun trail. I look froward to coming back with a bathing suit when the weather is nicer

Beautiful place to see for adults. Huge ravine with straight down cliffs and no safety barriers. Creek running down below. If you drive back out to the road and take a left at the T, drive to the fork in the road and bear left onto the dead end. This takes you to the creek at the bottom of the ravine. Rocks of all different sizes in and around the creek making it more beautiful to see but difficult for children to walk on. Again, great for adults.

1st time there today! very peaceful and scenic! Loved it! Walked footpath trail to point then down the hill to the creek and to south branch of the creek and back! It was pure serenity! No one else was there while we hiked!
