Excellent hike. Some pretty steep parts.

Did this in the April rain - very slippery and definitely hard! Most important to note is it is NOT dog friendly!!! We brought our lab and had a really hard time with cliffs; at one point he had to be physically lifted because it wasn’t possibly for him to get up. Fun hike and a good challenge but definitely would have felt better without having to worry about keeping our dog alive!

This is an awesome hike - I just did it on 4/13/19 - be warned it was VERY ICEY for majority of the trail. Spikes are a must.

We went in spikes today, would have been better with snowshoes. South summit of Twin was a spectacular sunny view. The loop coming back after Indian Head had some icy patches. One part was especially steep, and would have been better wearing crampons. Felt unsafe. We very slowly managed our way down. Took us 6 hours to complete.
