This trail definitely needs some TLC towards the end. We got lost because the trail markers change colors. Make sure that if you hike this you know that the yellow markers switch to blue markers and that at the T in the path about 3 miles in, you turn right to get to the pond. We passed some other hikers who said they couldn't find the pond. We were pretty insistent on finding it and did so after backtracking and using my phone's map--but it definitely wasn't that easy. All in all, though, this was a nice day hike! The pond is really pretty and nice to wade in. Super gentle incline and pretty hike!
