Kayaking in Cortland to Marathon (right across the American Legion building). There is a bald eagle nest and an eagle in the nest just before Messengerville on the right hand side.

There is no real trail, at least not near Marathon.

great river to kayak and fish when at normal water level. be careful it has some tricky spots you should be experienced in a kayak before doing this river . 3 people have been rescued by air boat this summer already!!!!!!

Pleasant paved walk around Hope Lake. Recreation area includes trails, sandy beach, pavilion, picnic tables, restroom, kayak rental. Fee area.
