great singletrack to be found here. always finding new trails to ride. camped here once as well.my favorite go to spot in new york

This is more than just the trail(s) listed here. It is Stewart Forest, which has oodles of old roads, fire roads, and single track trails. Since no motor vehicles are allowed, it allows plenty of peace and quiet too. Nice to hike, but it's a big place. Mountain bikes are the way to go.
Traveling, you can stay at the Comfort Inn in Newburgh, and even rent bikes at Dark Horse cycles on Rt 17k.
