Great trail I'd rate as easy. The first half is mostly groomed trail and is level with a few inclines. Approaching the midway point brings less of a groomed trail and the inclines are steady and get the blood flowing. A few nuisance bugs to contend with, otherwise, no problems. The falls are beautiful and right near the trailhead.

Easy trail. No longer muddy. Fine for kids and sneakers. Just a woodland trail. Be sure to go off the given AllTrails to the parking lot about 1/8 mile where you walk down to a spectacular waterfall area.

Cute little trail. Considered easy. Great for kids. Trail in the woods a little boring. Better for mountain biking. Water views were the best part. Flooded par, need to go off trail to cross which is very over grown and filled with poison ivy.

Definitely takes more effort to hike the inclines in snow! But we walked fine in snow boots and crampons

so. a real review of this trail: easy. 1 hour trail. zero reason to be rated as moderate. if you are expecting any type of scenic view beyond the first 2 mins you will be very disappointed. I was under-awed by far. just a simple trail through the woods and there is zero view of whiteface even though part of the trail goes right through the ski resort parking lot. meh

I would recommend this trail for young kids. We hiked with my 9 and 7 year old and they loved especially rock hopping near the flume.

Enjoyed this trail more than I thought I would. Loved the home stretch that runs parallel to the river. Must be a stunning trek in the Fall.

The trail is a loop, we decided to go straight instead of up the steep incline to the right, either way it’s the trail. The trail follows the river and a pond, however it is flooded at this current moment so you have to walk though some very overgrown brush that there is a path but very tall weeds including poison ivy. Wear pants and proper shoes and bring big spray. Great trail to get the blood moving and lots of minor trail loops you can take if you’re feeling adventurous!

A beautiful 1+ hour hike. We took the right hand fork - it was a wide flat trail for the first half mile with the rocky inclines thereafter. The trails are well marked but with all the options and trail crossings, best to check the app periodically to ensure you don’t get off the proposed loop. At the far end you end up in a Whiteface Mountain parking lot. Take a hard left and cross over to access trail system back to starting point. The remainder of hike is a gentle downhill on a wide trail with views of the river.

Flume knob trail is a good workout to the top. Steep for the last 1/2 to 3/4 mile. Would do it again. Beautiful views

There is a pretty extensive trail system here that varies from easy to difficult. I hiked around for about 2 miles. Trail intersections very well marked.

fun, mostly beginner mountain bike trails. You can leave the easy trails for somewhat harder trails, but overall but not even intermediate.I take my young kids or novices here because it is flat for Lot, and the trails are truly professionally made.
