It’s a nice little loop for families and a good walking circuit. Has parking, playground, and is next door to an ice cream place. I wish there was more shade from the sun. It can be brutal.

I don't think I would call this a trail. It was definitely more of a park. There is a forested area that you can walk through but the trees are quite Young and the trail is paved so there's nothing that feels authentic or wild about it. That being said once you let all your expectations down for this being a hike it is a wonderful City Park. Only a five-minute walk from busy Wolf Road in Albany New York, I found it to be a nice quiet relaxing oasis. The paths are easy to walk on, are mostly flat and there are plenty of different options for walking around whether you want to be in the forest or not. Looks like a good place for running in the mornings.

It’s nice for an easy stroll or run on a paved surface or along the path. There’s nothing special about it really. Pleasant but not scenic.

We loved this trail. Its a family friendly hike. We had been to crossing several times but had not explored this trail. It really surprised us. We biked around 4.5 miles which also included other parts of crossings and including this trail. It was wonderful. My 10 year old daughter loved it:) Would definitely do this again.

Easy trail for running on pavement with a little trail running on dirt in wooded areas. Close to urban areas and easy to get to from local hotels. Good alternative to a treadmill. Lots of traffic, but friendly folks.

I recommend this trail for an alternative to a treadmill. Beautiful golf course esq environment with 8’ wide asphalt trails. Highly trafficked. There is a nice wooded area about 1/4 mile long on the far end of the trail that’s nice and I enjoyed the one lane bridge. There are vehicles, bikers, joggers, hikers, and school groups doing their workouts there. There are bathroom facilities about half way in. That was nice because there is no place to duck in behind a tree. I am a visitor to the Albany area. I had a brisk 3 mile walk and found the people on the trail very friendly.
