Be aware, guilderland residenta are $5 to get in and $10 for non residents, usually twice that, price lowered due to COVID probably would have picked somewhere else if I knew there was a fee, it’s because of the Pavillions and pool, which makes sense if that’s what you’re going there for. Trail was nice, could use maintenance attention, not marked when you got to the fields, very narrow by the water. The gate attendant collecting $$ didn’t know where the trail started so we guessed and parked up by the pool. Overall good, but we probably won’t do again

Beautiful park with a lot of amenities including bathrooms. Trails poorly marked, empty into fields and roads. No one with masks. Groups of runners cut over fields, roads since there is no one total path. One trail, yellow behind the stage, picked up between two maintenance piles of bark. Has great potential!! Township needs to just plan and mark better as it would save off trail wandering and the environment.

A couple blow downs and some overgrown areas but nonetheless a pretty fun easy hike. Very shaded for most of the trail and a bit of water was accessible towards the end which makes it perfect for the summer in my opinion. Good little spots for frog catching with little ones and good for pets too.

The parts of the hike on a trail by the water were nice. The parts through fields and parking lots were unclear.

Good trail. Not too many bugs at 10 am and it’s nicely maintained. Couldn’t find the waterfall. Not easy to get lost—you’ll hear the cars and know you just need to walk towards them. Once you leave the mowed path on the field the trail through the woods is narrow and steep but pretty.

The trail would be great if it was clearly marked. It’s hard to even find where to start once you enter the park. Once you finally find the trail it’s about 30 minutes to do the red loop. Good luck finding the other two. Even with AllTrails it’s almost impossible to get to the other two loops.

Very nice park with lots to do. Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus, the playgrounds are closed. We decided to take a nice family hike. We started on the red trail hoping to find the green trail so we could see the "waterfall" mentioned above in the Description. We did finally find the green trail and the "waterfall" isn't really much of a waterfall. But overall, we had a nice family hike with our 3 year old. There were lots of very wet spots along the trail.

Clear, wide path for the most part. One or two places where the trail is not clear but not really possible to get lost - you can find the park road easily from most points where there is confusion. Away from the road the trail is clearly marked. Nice elevation changes to get in shape before trying more difficult trails.

The trail was poorly marked and we ended walking a lot on pavement/road in park. It is more appropriate for children and older dogs.

Was still muddy, but they had piles of woodchips ready to put on the trail. And it was still fine with a decent pair of shoes. Saw three hawks.
