Great little trail that is easy to navigate. Although the parking lot may look crowded, many people use the rec area and the pool. The people that are hiking typically use the main dirt path. The side trails are really beautiful. Very foresty with green ferns and swamps. The side trails are also slightly elevated and makes for an interesting adventure. Although there are many offshoots, its hard to get lost. I walked around with no real destination in mind and just explored the trails. Very tranquil and relaxing. Off the main dirt path there are some ruins, not sure of what though. there is also a teepee in the woods thats kinda cool. The trails that run along the river eventually lead you to the lookout point. It's pretty, but much of the view is blocked by trees this time of year. Speaking of this time of year, the wild raspberry bushes are ripe and ready for the picking! This park has a plethora of the bushes all along the trails which makes a nice snack and plenty enough to take a few home as well!

Easy walk with a viewpoint. If you park at the Tallman Parking lot near Tennis Courts, there was a children’s interactive page by page book reading on the trail. Good idea for kids. To see the viewpoint you are going off trail. So just be sure to follow your app! Many many bugs, youre on marsh land. Wear bug spray.

Great trail, starts with a high, rocky but short climb, but after that, it is beautiful, shady, nice view of the Tapanzee bridge, lots of picnic areas in parts of the path. Good shade by the trees. If want to go on a bike, this nearby little town, Piermont, NY is full of cyclists. Parts of the trail also are suited for mountain biking. Recommended....

A very nice trail with a magnificent view of Hudson River. Highly recommend. Lots of small trail options to stay away from people and off the beaten track. Enjoyed it.

Beautiful day. Broke in some Birkenstock’s on this here. Had a great time, did half. Went to the highest elevation saw the view of the new bridge, very inclined to bring some friends up.

Great Park with lot of Picnic areas with beautiful Hudson views. We did part of the long trail, with young kids who enjoyed it very much. There are bike trails and hiking trails. Pic in areas were crowded but trails less.

It was a bit too crowded for a weekday late afternoon but still enjoyable. This trail features a variety of terrains, my favorite part was the grid of narrow elevated paths between the swamps, very picturesque! And, of course, there are views of Hudson which is always grand.

Is a good trail for families, kids, and inexperience hikers. It was pretty crowded in the usual morons were out with no masks crowding together on the trail. If you don’t have any kids with you you can hit the side trails and feel a bit isolated until you get back on the main drag. If your mobility restricted it would certainly be easy to stay on the main paved trails. Had a blast. Look at my recording if you want a variation of hits a lot of the back trails.

Very nice park with great picnic areas and places to sit. The bathrooms are all closed and there are no port-a-potties, so maybe bring a few cups (haha). People were pretty good about distancing. Nice trails and beautiful views. I would go back here again soon!

I felt really good about this hike. Several different ways to explore it, you’ll spend quite some time if you want to see it all. Although pretty crowded, people respected 6-feet rule. There’s a decent view on Hudson River once you get on a blue trail after crossing the driveway, you can reach that area with a car too. If you decide to take the Long Path make sure you check out reed-covered Piermont Marsh directly below.
