Very enjoyable trail and certainly “easy” in terms of terrain. I would agree with Paige’s earlier review in that it’s best to do the trail anti clockwise - that way you get to Table Rock at about three quarters of the way round the trail rather than 1/4. Also agree that it is VERY easy to lose the trail as it’s not well marked and certainly in the first half of the trail there are quite a number of other paths that cross. I’d strongly recommend checking the map on this app literally every few minutes for the first half!

Lots of cool rock formations and some nice views we did get off trail and had trouble finding it again.

Good for kids. First half is easy to follow. Back half seems to go off the blazoned trail a bit. Lots of mountain trails for variations.

Trail is well marked, a beautiful view from the big rock. Gradual inclines if your interested in walking up the trail from the bottom.

Nice hike. Combination of 4 wheeler, mountain bike, bushwack and paved road. Saw several deer, wood chucks and even a centipede. Good hike.. The parking accesses are blocked off due to Hartwick College shutdown and Covid-19. I parked on a nearby street and walked up.

Overall good trail, a little underdeveloped and hard to follow in some places but has a great view. The beginning of the trail was easy to miss, don’t go all the way up the road, it’s half way up the road after the fence, not all the way up by the fields. Also, i would start the trail by taking the path to the right.

Excellent beginners loop. My 6 year old daughter loved the views and was not phased at all by the slight inclines and many rocks you can choose to climb. The trail was slightly muddy with wet pine needles in abundance but not enough to be an extreme hazard. The campus is technically closed and there were guards at some of the Hartwick Campus entrances. The guard I got allowed me to go through to do the trail, but he also seemed like he really didn't care too much about anything. Overall a super positive experience!

This is a very active spot for locals and students. The trail doesn't have markers but you will most often see other hikers on the trail. It's a very easy hike with one of the best views in the valley

Started off unsure of where the trail was due to being on a college campus and it not being labeled. Trail is unmarked with many smaller trails branching off making it easy to get off the main trail. Great wooded trail otherwise.

We couldn’t find the trail! We followed several paths after passing through a gate labeled ‘table rock/ strawberry fields’, walking over 3 miles total, but we could never actually find the ‘table rock.’ It was pretty disappointing. Trails we did follow were okay, but seemed unnecessarily windy, zigging back and forth, passing by earlier parts of the trail. We even tried going off trail for awhile. I wouldn’t recommend this.

Magical trail with wildlife and a beautiful view. When we went there we were surrounded by golden eagles almost close enough to touch and more and more kept appearing.

Had a hard time finding the trail head at first, on the Hartwick campus (I hadn't downloaded the app yet). Great wooded trail, well marked. You can take many different color trails.

it is an easy trail but it has a wonderful mix of terrain (tall grass fields, forest, flat rock, dirt roads).
