Great trail that gives both sunshine and shade. One things I noticed is the poison ivy is very close to a lot of the trail walkways so just be cautious and careful. I really wish there were mile markers and something to signify what trail takes you where and how long the distance is. Only a portion had this. If we didn’t have this app open to track our where-a-bouts, we would have ended up with two really tired kiddos on the wrong end of the trail! Def a trail worth taking with many diff distances to go and beautiful park to visit! Just be sure to have your phone/app open on hand!

Given the climate we are now living in.. one begins to appreciate that which one took for granted. We walked the trails, the sun was shining, the birds chirping, deer peeking.. ended by the boardwalk( too crowded, people not adhering to social distancing, barely a mask in sight) Beach pretty empty.. it was a wonderful day.. We did note the seabirds looked pissed , perplexed... no food to steal! Nice clean trail, several options.. beautiful views...

Harder depending on which way you take especially because of the sand. But nice views solid trail.

Nice trail not well marked so you can kind of make the loops your own. not crowded at all. Start at field 3 or 4 for trail heads!

we really enjoyed this trail. would classify as “super easy”. It had flat sandy paths overlooking the water with steep trail options to hike down.

Beautiful trail overlooking the shoreline, lots of very steep areas but options to walk along the flat paths instead. Not over crowded but definitely not solitude. No dogs, which is a shame, but people still brought them anyway. Nice beach and coastal area and beautiful views

NYS First Hike 2020. 100+ participants on a chilly, breezy morning. Excellent way to start the year with my boys.

Love Sunken Meadow and the bluffs. Good hike, the only challenging part is the steep incline you must climb to get to top of bluff but if you start at the other side, I believe at a beach, maybe Long Beach (?) It’s not as difficult to go up that way, there is actually steps and then you can just go down the steep side instead of up. I like the challenge though. It’s good to get your heart going and to remind one just how capable our bodies are. If you have health issues I wouldn’t recommend though, well not the high elevation portions. Beautiful though. Enjoy!

easy hike along the Kings Park Bluff with cardiac XC hill thrown in. Nice views.

Nice view points but poorly marked trails, with lots of confusing intersections. Total hike was slightly over 1 and a half hours. Points of steep elevation.

SCARY on the bluff in the trails, way too steep and downhill , it starts off fine then out of nowhere you will not be able to stop Best for hiking

Very nice views, near beach and concession with bathrooms and food— great starter place to bring an 11 year old. Only downside was that the trails really weren’t marked. Says 3.7 mile loop but no arrows pointing where to go.

Great morning for a Cub Scout hike. Trails struck a good balance for all the participants.
