HikingGreat!

Well marked. Made our way to the second fire pit and boat at the third pond. Weather has been dry but some areas look like they could be mucky during wet season. Beautiful ponds. Heard loons but did not see them.

The trail to the first pond with a fire pit was well maintained and it was a beautiful spot. We kept going following the alltrails map until we reached the second spot with a firepit. The map said the trail kept going, but we couldnt find it. Look out for a leanto!!! Beautiful unspoiled pond

Did this today with 3 adults and 2 dogs and not another soul in sight. Beautiful winter hike as temps were mild (high 30s) and only a couple of inches of snow on the ground. Would love to come back another time and spend the night in the lean-to. Saw that this is also a snowmobile trail which would make me less inclined to repeat in the winter.

Great winter hike. Crunchy snow and ice covered trail. Yaktrax were needed. Ponds were beautiful frozen. Great sighs and moans coming from beneath the ice surface as it expanded and contracted. Terrific hike!

Beautiful trail, albeit some mucky spots, to 3 beautiful ponds... amazing foliage today! Would be a great place to dip in the summer or early fall! Rowboat and canoe at shore... just bring a paddle!!

Beautiful hike but was horribly swarmed by deer flies (in nose, hair, and clothes, and I even swallowed one) and had to run all the way back. Would love to try again with a head net and long pants or bug spray.

We hiked only to Stony Pond but is well worth the 4 miles round trip. Lean to is in great shape and would be a wonderful spot for an overnight.
