nice little trail you can hook up with through the Fahnestock campground or from the Taconic. Was a little confusing to follow at first as it switched between white, red, and blue markers, but you can see the lake most of the time so it's easy to stay on course. Very little traffic and our dog loved it. There's even a little beach area she hopped into.

This one was kind of strange. Directions take you to a trail head on the shoulder of Taconic State Parkway. Walk 1 Mile in either direction on the trail and you will run into "Do Not Enter" trail markers. It appears this trail is mainly used for cross country skiing and/or snowmobiles? Not sure what I'm missing here.
