It was a nice walk. My dog enjoyed the hike, but was easily overheated . Used Four bottles of water. Ticks were plentiful, so make sure you pray your dogs and yourself.

This is a nice 7 mile loop on un-paved road with some pot holes. Easy to navigate with a Mt Bike, fat bike or 29er. Some challenging hills and lots of choices to add miles to your ride. Also single track choices if you want to ride in the woods. You will enjoy these trails on your bike. Worth it!! Enjoy....

I come here a lot because there aren't many people and so my dogs are able to run free and enjoy nature also. Hey it's their world too. A LOT of ticks though, and they are always covered in burrs after. Flat and a little boring but some really great scenery here and there. AMAZING boardwalk through a beautiful marsh if you make it that far.

This trail I followed is a service road thru the preserve. Good for a brisk exercise hike. Nice woods but not much awe inspiring scenery. Great route for cyclists. The preserve is a great place to explore with a multitude of trails. Will definitely come back to explore more.

Not many people on the trail lots of pot hole, hard to see until they are right under ya. Gnats were crazy. Still had a great time.

I did the other end of SSP-just under 7 miles. Nice trails. There were plenty of muddy spots to the point had to carry my little guy over a lot. It took me over an hour and a half to pull a ton of ticks off him.

I tried some of this yesterday. Did just some up and back because here's my one complaint, there are no individual maps for each trail that I know of

Good mt biking workout, miles of trails, maps available from local bike shops, watch for poison ivy and ticks.

This is a nice place to ride but the problem is that there are almost no maps, nothing marked and it can get very confusing and you can easily get turned around in the forest. This is also not a "site seeing" hike so if you're into views or vistas this isn't the place for you but it is a nice place to trail run, or bike or ride a horse. Would be better if there were marked trails or a definitive map though. Just not easy to navigate here.

We've enjoyed these trails many times - always a new area to explore and lots of terrain to choose from.
