Wonderful wide trail that goes up to the Hunter fire tower. Mild incline the entire first half then steep incline for around a mile & then the top is flat. Still was a little snow at the top but easy without any snow gear. One warning, in the first 1/2 mile we spotted a copperhead that crossed the trail right in front of us. Watch out for them in the leaf piles!
