Trail was a great ride. They have some very nice spots to stop and take a break or look around at the river. You will hear the traffics and have to cross little streets. It’s fairly crowded, but people are good about sharing the path

We had a nice bike ride on road bikes. Trail was nice and flat, but a bit narrow for Sunday morning moderate-to-high levels of traffic. Stopped at the little creek and we saw an eel, catfish, barn swallow, several types of butterflies and a cool-looking little water cave. Remnants of an old trail were accessible for a tiny bit of rambling with the kids up and around the creek. At about the half-way point, a bridge offers picturesque views up and down the Woodlands Lake, with high-hanging vines and a mini-waterfall on the downstream section. The trail’s overall proximity to major highways is a bit off-putting but not terrible.

Simple path. Has some nice scenery. Woodlands Lake is nice but kind of murky. No access to the river along the path unless you want to go through the bushes and trees.

Killer morning bike ride!

Awesome! I rode with my dog, Max, this morning. Had a great time. He loved running alongside the bike and seeing squirrels, chipmunks, and birds. He almost tipped me over trying to chase after a squirrel!!

This is an awesome, wide, flat trail, perfect for quick rides before or after work.

Tucked between two highways - very loud! Other than that, nice and easy walk

Nice trail overall, flat. Wasn’t too busy. First 2 or so miles from parking are really bumpy for a road bike. The trail is closed at entrance to Van Cortlandt Park. Apparently you can go around the construction fence however it’s not paved (per another biker).

People seem oblivious to social distancing. Won’t be back until covid19 is gone.

Really nice trail for biking and not too crowded. Would walk there again, the walk was easy just long

I’ve done this trail before and went the opposite route yesterday with my girls. We ventured into the woods and saw a few deer by a small bridge. There were also turtles around the water. Super relaxing and calming.
